  1. 1)    What's new in version 1.1?

  3. -    Several bugs in the DirectShow filter are now fixed,
  4. allowing SmartCam to work with Skype and MSN.
  5.  
  6. -    J2ME application (jSmartCam) now available.
  7.  
  8. 2)    Setting up the J2ME application on the phone:
  9.  
  10. -    By default jSmartCam will ask for the user's permission
  11. the first time it uses the Bluetooth and before capturing every
  12. frame from the camera. To prevent this, just go to the application
  13. manager, select jSmartCam -> Settings (or Suite settings) :
  14.     * Connectivity : Always allowed
  15.     * Multimedia   : Ask first time
  16.  
  17. -    To speed up the connection, in the discovery screen, select
  18. the desired PC, then Options->Set default. The next time jSmartCam 
  19. will connect, it will directly connect to the selected default device,
  20. without discovering other devices.
